Lawn Stress during Hot and Windy weather

By Tina Hutton,

With the hot weather, high evaporation and strong winds, your turf could be in danger of irreparable damage.

Ensure your new or established turf is receiving the correct amount of water to prevent dehydration and severe damage.
With new turf installations it is extremely important to keep turf hydrated throughout the establishment period.

Follow your installation and aftercare guide (bearing in mind it is only a guide). Winds and heat can hugely reduce watering efficiency so irrigation may need to be run for longer.

Additional hand watering may also be required.
