Peter and Adrian PitsikasDirectors Diploma in Horticulture (Turf Management) Irrigation and Business Manager
Brothers Adrian and Peter Pitsikas founded Greenacres Turf Group in 1990 and between them have extensive knowledge in the turf farming industry since it’s infancy in the late 1980’s. Both directors are working Directors and take immense pride in their farm, product and staff. Both have Diplomas in Horticulture (Turf Management), Irrigation and Business Management.
Adrian is a former chairman of Turf Australia (TA) – National peak body for turf producers and is a former state chairman of Turf Growers Association of Western Australia (TGA).
Peter is directly involved in the “hands on” role of managing and overseeing the irrigation systems and smooth running of farm operations. Peter is Head of our Commercial Installation Team, overseeing all aspects of Commercial Projects and brings extensive knowledge to all operations both within the farm itself and also on project sites.
Business Associations include Peel Chamber of Commerce. Adrian sits as a Director of the Mandurah Community Financial Services Limited (MCFSL) which is a franchise of the Adelaide and Bendigo Bank.
Alan RedmayneSerpentine Farm Manager Cert 4 in Turf Management
Alan Redmayne was Cottesloe’s Golf Course Superintendent for 14 years. Alan’s extensive experience in Sports Turf Construction and Turf Management brings over 27 years of worth of knowledge to the Greenacres team.
Prior to joining the Greenacres team in 2012. Alan was employed as the Project Manager for McMahons Limited overseeing the construction of the Kalgoorlie Golf Course and Race Tracks throughout the Eastern States of Australia. Alan is responsible for Quality Control and works very closely with our Operations Manager – Andrew Morgan.
Since 2013 Alan has been involved in all major projects including Albany Centennial Park 14,000m2 “Lay ‘n’ Play” Jumbo Rolls, Hands Oval 20,000m2, East Dalyellup Primary School 19,000m2 new oval establishment, Domain Stadium renovations and re surface, Briggs Oval, Fremantle Oval reinstatements, growing of turf for Fremantle Dockers Training Facility in Cockburn and James Miller Oval South Perth. Overseeing sowing, growing and harvesting of Eclipse Turf for Optus Stadium.
Andrew MorganCommercial Operations and Special Projects Manager Cert 4 in Horticulture (equiv)
Andrew Morgan has been with Greenacres for eight and a half years and has been involved in Farm Operations since 2009. Having over 19 years’ experience in landscaping and landscape construction. He previously ran a successful landscape contract business in the UK. He is responsible for managing external projects as well as being our Operations Manager.
Andrew has been involved in all major projects including Hands Oval 20,000m2, East Dalyellup Primary School 19,000m2 new Oval establishment, Domain Stadium renovations and re surface, Fremantle Oval reinstatements, planting of Fremantle Dockers Training facility in Cockburn and James Miller Oval South Perth. The majority of these projects were installed with our “Lay ‘n’ Play” Jumbo Rolls.
Raymond WooningsAgronomist, Research & Technical Support Manager Cert 4 Training and Assessing in Horticulture
Raymond Woonings (AAIH) has over 39 years in Horticulture. Formerly with the Sumich Group for 17 years followed by 7 years as Senior Sales Agronomist for the Growers Agrishop, Raymond held the position of Farm Manager for Greenacres at the main production farm in Serpentine from 2005 to 2015 before moving onto Research and Development.
Tina HuttonSales & Marketing Manager
With over 30 years’ experience in administration and the banking sector, Tina is our Sales & Marketing Manager. She has been a member of our staff since 2011 and supervises our Sales Team, managing the CRM and is responsible for marketing and advertising.
Karen KeehnAdministrative Services Manager
Karen Keehn holds a Diploma of Management and has been our Administrative Services Manager since 2016. Karen handles Accounts Payable and Receivable, HR Administration and also manages our Administration and Customer Service Team which has 2 full time and 3 part time staff members.
Marc MeinharthWorkshop Manager
Marc came to Greenacres in 2010. He is qualified as a Diesel Mechanic and Auto Electrician. Having extensive experience holding certificates in Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Welding, Air-conditioning Fitting and Servicing to name a few. Marc supervises the workshop team with major repairs, servicing and maintenance of all farm trucks, vehicles and machinery. Marc is also heavily involved in development for modifications of machinery.
