Transport – HC Driver

Due to recent expansion at Greenacres Turf Group the position of Transport Operator – HC Driver has become available.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for organising the pickup of cut turf and loading of turf at loading points around the farm
• Liaise with Logistics Coordinator to ensure smooth delivery schedules
• Deliver pallets of turf and turf products to customers throughout the metropolitan area and suburbs

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Valid, unrestricted MC-class Drivers Licence
• Valid Forklift ticket – Class LF
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferable in transport/courier driving
• Safe driving history
• Familiarity with the local region (or ability to quickly acquire)
• Polite and professional verbal communication skills

Desirable:

• Valid First Aid accreditation or willingness to obtain
• Experience in transporting goods which need special care eg. turf, chemicals Inductions

Inductions and full training will be provided to assist with our ‘Push-off pallet’ delivery system.

*** Part-time option available for suitably qualified candidate.
